I believe that an investment in your family is an investment in your life.
Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She believes first and foremost in a systemic approach to healing children, individuals and families. She addresses challenges surrounding prenatal history, early childhood history, physical and mental health, family history, support systems and more. Jessica has over 10 years of experience and extensive training in supporting adults and children through complex traumatic experiences. She helped to develop an intensive outpatient behavioral health program for elementary aged children who were affected by trauma and unable to access their academics in a traditional setting. Jessica also has experience assisting first responders and their families through trauma experiences and resulting impact on the family dynamics. Her approach is strength based and family centered, meaning that all of the focus is not on what is going wrong but rather building upon what is going right. Jessica uses Eye Movement and Desensitization (EMDR) to assist individuals working through traumatic events, as well as struggling with negative thought patterns. She also incorporates play therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Attachment Based therapy.
Honoring each person’s individual uniqueness allows clients to relax and fully engage in therapeutic process. Jessica specializes in the treatment of trauma, behavioral challenges, separation and divorce, mood disorders and anxiety disorders in children, adolescents and adults
