West Linn Office

Martha is an Associate Counselor with a Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling. She is deeply passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges, particularly grief, trauma, and relational difficulties. Martha has received extensive training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Levels I and II) and is dedicated to helping couples of all forms strengthen their relationships and deepen their connection.

Throughout her career, Martha has worked extensively with trauma survivors and uses a variety of therapeutic modalities to support healing. Her approach is grounded in Family Systems Therapy, attachment-based counseling, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She also offers creative interventions such as play therapy and art therapy for younger children, helping them process emotions and experiences in a developmentally appropriate way.

Martha is particularly passionate about supporting those dealing with grief, whether in a couple, family, or individual context. She has taught weekly parenting classes both online and in-person, which has provided her with valuable insights into the common and less common struggles that parents face. Her experience includes working with a diverse range of issues, including depression, grief, sexual identity exploration, addiction, trauma, infidelity, eating disorders, and attachment-related concerns.

At the core of Martha’s practice is the belief that healing and growth begin by meeting clients where they are. She strives to help individuals and families foster healthy, authentic connections—to themselves, each other, and the world around them. Martha’s greatest passion is facilitating this process of growth, helping clients better understand themselves, their relationships, and their place in the world, so they can live more fulfilling lives.
