Camber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in individual, group, and family therapy, Camber has worked extensively with children (9+), adolescents, and adults. Her therapeutic approach is multidimensional, addressing the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of each client. By tailoring interventions to fit the unique needs of individuals, Camber empowers clients to heal, build self-esteem, develop emotional regulation skills, increase resilience, improve communication in relationships, and achieve their personal goals.
A third-generation Bendite, Camber has called Bend home for 45 years. Her passion for supporting individuals through mental and physical health challenges in her community began in middle school and has continued to drive her career. Throughout her professional journey, she has worked in residential treatment and various community mental health settings. With over 20 years of experience, Camber specializes in working with youth facing mental health challenges, neurodevelopmental disorders, family relational difficulties, and those who identify as LGBTQ+.
Camber’s therapeutic style is strengths-based, built on the belief that people are doing the best they can within their circumstances. She takes a non-judgmental, compassionate, and collaborative approach to support clients through difficult situations, fostering healing and growth. Her approach integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psycho-educational Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness-based techniques.
Guided by her core values of compassion, authenticity, kindness, and respect, Camber creates a supportive space where clients of all ages—especially pre-teens, teens, and young adults—can work through challenges like mood disorders, anxiety, emotional regulation, communication issues, self-esteem, and life transitions.
