Katelyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. She received her masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University. Katelyn also completed a graduate certification in Infant and Toddler Mental Health.
Katelyn is an eclectic practitioner that believes in supporting the child and family where they are at, this is done through utilizing whatever method may be the best fit for a family including but not limited to play therapy techniques, talking, art, and movement. She has been trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement desensitization), Trauma-Focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Therapeutic Life Story Work. Katelyn has a wide array of experience working with children that have experienced trauma and have "big" behaviors. Katelyn has worked with children in schools, outpatient settings, in the community, foster care, and residential programs. Katelyn has a passion for working with early intervention and supporting families in addressing needs and concerns as soon as they arise in a families life.
